California Trip- Hollywood

Jul
No Comments   Posted by gretchen |  Category:Travel

Let’s wrap up the vacation overview with a quick overview of Hollywood. Obviously, there are many touristy things to do in Hollywood- and that usually isn’t my thing. The Warner Brothers Studio Tour is something I would gladly do the next time I’m in Southern California.

I had my heart set on visiting Stars Hollow/ Bluebell- but I had to make due with the gazebo in a parking lot!

They also recreated the Friends set!

We stayed at the Hollywood Hills Hotel- a very calm retreat above the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. The suites are all studio apartments, with a living area, kitchen, and a nice big deck with a view of the city. The apartment-style living had me pretending that I lived in the Hollywood Hills!

We also hit up Universal. I won’t bore you with cheesy theme park photos- but I enjoyed the attention to detail in the Kwik-E-Mart/ Simpsons gift shop.

That concludes our tour of Southern California!

California Trip- The Getty

Jul
